Well I promised at least one more, so here it is. Next Thursday, the 1st November, we head off on our second cruise. Again it is largely sponsored by Mandy and Mark. This time we have additional guests, Janelle, Jaylin and Jacobi (sorry Janelle if I got the spelling wrong there).
We have switched cruise lines and this time we will be on the Carnival Legend. The booking was made by Mandy back in March, and at that time I was still in rehab at Royal Park. I wasn't very mobile at that time needing a wheelchair to get around. So Mandy found a wheel chair friendly room for us, 6234. It is an extended balcony room with a massive balcony.
Yesterday, I received an email from Carnival offering an upgrade to a suite for only $150PP. Normally suites are $500PP extra. But by the time I saw the email and started looking, decided it was a good offer, and rang them, all suites were taken. Last night I searched the web for more pictures (with Mandy's help) and our room looks pretty good. I was hoping that we had a comfortable chair for me to sit in, and we do appear to have one lounge chair, and probably a couch, but they don't look as comfortable as the chairs here at home. Oh well, I'm sure I'll find something comfortable somewhere on the ship. The Library looks good, and some of the bars look comfortable too.
Margaret and I are really getting excited about it now. It's been a long wait, but not long to go now.

I don't think I have ever "blogged". Which is pretty surprising given how much I use the web to research things. So I am a reader, not a writer. It might turn out that this is the only blog in here!
But I will make at least one more...
